Chiropractic Treatments

Chiropractic treatment at the Battlefield clinic uses traditional chiropractic adjustments alongside numerous muscle relaxation techniques, massage, static stretching, acupuncture and active release technique.  In turn the hands on treatment is combined with a lot of advice on exercises and other ways in which that can help your condition and speed up your recovery.

We recommend and provide ongoing treatment to most patients with a goal to

• Prevent any further relapses
• Improve your overall posture and wellbeing
• Enhance specific sporting performance (occasionally work related performance or activities at work)

The Battlefield clinic is a welcoming and friendly environment with all assessments and treatments performed in a private treatment room.

Chiropractic adjustments are gentle but fast manoeuvre applied to a specific area of your spine that has been assessed to have restricted movement.  Commonly the adjustment is associated with a clicking sound, although this sounds strange it is nothing to worry about and represents a release of tension from the joint.  The initial effect of adjustments is increased movement of the area it was applied too.
